The most expensive Mi Air and still the best Macbook Air Clone available

The Xiaomi Mi Air 13 Ultimate, from the name itself, gives you the ultimate user experience but also on higher price tag. If you are a serious Multitasker or heavy users, then this notebook is for you. It still has one of the best Keyboard and Touchpad combo available, which is similar to all the models of the Mi Air lineup. The Core i7 Dual Core Chipset is enough for video editing, also the Nvidia GT940MX is also good for discreet gaming. But with this powerful hardware, battery life will not be as good as the Xiaomi Mi Air 12. Also on gaming, expect slight thermal throttling of the GPU on heavy use.

You should also take note that it runs Windows 10 Chinese version, so you need to change it manually to English, which means, reformatting your drive. Unfortunately, the keys provided with the  Chinese version is not valid on the English version. Also, despite that this is an expensive notebook, it is non touch screen.

  1. WOW!,
Seems excessively priced, considering you don’t get a touch screen, and you’ll have to purchase an English version of Windows, if you’re not Asian. Better deals elsewhere, even from mainstream manufacturers.

  2. When is the Xiaomi Mi Air 12 kaby lake version coming out??… and any info on the price for a possible Xiaomi Mi Air 12 with 256gb 8GB ram version.

    1. Hello fil,

no info with that yet, I hope soon, but I would like that they release it with a touch screen version now

      Best Regards,
      Vince

  3. Hey. Do you think it’s worth holding out to see what the new Xiaomi Mi Air 12 is like or getting the old version?

    1. Hello Will,

just get the Xiaomi Mi Air 12, unless you want better gaming or video editing where the Core i7 can be used.

      Best Regards,
      Vince
