The Beelink M808 retails at $102

Two cheap and low profile Internet TV Boxes, these devices turn your regular TV into a functioning Computer or Android device. The Wintel W8 is a dual OS Smart TV box that offers the flexibility of both Android and Windows Operating Systems, meanwhile, the Beelink M808 is a Windows 8 only box.

Both devices offer similar specs, running an Atom Z3735F Quad Core processor, mostly ideal as a worksheet and light multimedia device but not more into gaming. The connectivity options are ample, Bluetooth and Dual Band WiFi are built in. Furthermore, 1080p video output is also available via HDMI Port.

Overall, if you want to turn your TV into a all around Multimedia device, then these devices offer such features. Although they are less of a gaming rig, they offer great flexibility and usability for those who want a good theater system without spending much.

  1. I never understood why these boxes( it least the ones with windows) should make sense.
    Buy in 8 inch Windows tablet for the same money or less , you can connect it to a TV as well, and you get the tablet on top – for free.

      yes you can definitely have a tablet connected to your TV. But i think the purpose of the TV boxes are little different. TV boxes are there for long duration or permanently, and are design to work for long hours and better thermal capability. Also tablets are limited in terms of Ports, for example RJ45 Ethernet Port, Standard HDMI Port available, Some have USB 3.0 or multiple USB 2.0 slots. Also, they usually run on power adapters.
