Voyo A1 Plus Laptop – Reboot and New Cherry Trail Chipset?

The Voyo A1 Plus is the successor to the A1 Plus Ultimate. And frankly, looking at the specs, it is just a reboot. It comes with a new slightly faster Chipset.

  • Dual OS (Android 5.1 Lollipop and 64 bit Windows 10 Home Edition)

I had reviewed the Voyo A1 Plus Ultimate before and it was pretty much a standard Yoga Style Ultrabook with modest performance. And my overall review was a mixed bag. I think this new version is just a minor update, like most reboots. Personally, I don’t think the Intel Atom X5-Z8350 will offer major performance leaps. Probably on the GPU side, it would be interesting to know the performance of the new Intel HD Graphics 400 and how it stack against the old Intel Gen8.

Since it is just a reboot, I also think, it will offer basically identical features like Handwriting Stylus support, same speakers, screen quality and build quality. So, I am not expecting a completely new Ultrabook here.

    1. Hello Pilskie,

It’s just a handwriting pen, not really for productivity. Unlike Active or Wacom Stylus enabled tablets

      Best Regards,
