Teclast Master T10 is a surprisingly good budget Tablet that offers an above average 2.5K Screen and mid-end Chipset. It also offers clean OS with Slick UI, and an amazing 13 mp front facing camera. Connectivity is also impressive with Dual Band Wireless built in.

Dead Gorgeous Screen
Having used the Teclast Master T10 for quite some time now, I can say that it surpassed my expectation. First of all, the screen is dead gorgeous in this tablet, you can’t find any other High Quality screen on this price range. It has no tinting, the contrast levels are spot on. Although it could use a bit more lux on its brightness, the screen overall is above average.
Unbloated OS but still is buggy
The tablet is running the latest Android 7 Nougat out of the box and it does get quite a lot of updates from time to time. The UI is clean, slick and unbloated. I think teclast has improved their system, as this is running like a well oiled engine. But not everything is good here also. The lockscreen lag cannot be removed and there is an issue with Android view system which annoyingly keeps popping up and causing force closures.
Surprisingly good performance
The performance on this tablet is surprisingly good, I have never expected the Mediatek MT8176 would perform well especially paired with a whopping 2.5K screen. On my use, gaming performance was relatively smooth on all the games that I have tested. You can certainly play top heavy 3D games with no issues. Multitasking performance is good too.
Connectivity is excellent as well, it comes with Dual Band Wireless ac support, and it is fast and stable, that is also true with the GPS performance. I had tested heavily the Wireless connectivity and there is no issue here
A Gimmick Fingerprint ID
Well, it’s laughable that they placed it at the back in the first place, but performance is actually quite reliable. It isn’t the fastest in terms of recognition but works just fine, about 7/10 in terms of accuracy.
8 hours Battery Life
Battery life is also impressive as well, I was getting around 8 hours on a single charge, according to PCMark. And that I think is true on casual use, as even on 0% brightness, you can still use the tablet with no issues.
13 mp Camera is a beauty
Forget about the Rear Camera because the 13 mp Front Camera is even more impressive. I mean, this tablet is design probably for conference calls, the clarity of the pictures and videos of the front facing camera is just impressive.
There are bound to be a couple of hitches, but the Teclast Master T10 is certainly one of my top recommended Tablets of 2017. The amazing screen and great performance makes it a winner.
