A Reboot

The Pipo W1s isn’t a new tablet, although the new Cherry Trail processor underneath begs to differ. The tablet is a reboot of last year’s Bay Trail Generation and thus is predominantly faster but still stays at the same price range. The tablet at its core houses a Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 Quad Core processor with Memory variants of either 4 or 2 GB RAM. The tablet also supports Expandable storage and houses a Full size 10.1 inch, IPS display with FHD or 1080p Ultra high pixel density screen. The tablet also runs the latest Windows 10 OS out of the box.

Transformer Tablet?

The tablet offers the flexibility and portability of a Tablet and a Laptop in one package. More like a 2 in one tablet, supports external keyboard placement via the Magnetic Keyboard Dock which can easily convert the tablet into a workstation laptop. Although the laptop will not offer you much horsepower but still a good laptop for your daily mails, social media etc… usage.

What other features can you expect of the tablet?

The tablet comes with a standard USB 3.0 Port, although the storage options doesn’t include SSD’s, the maximum expandable storage allows up to 128 GB. The tablet also comes with Mini HDMI cable for video output up to 4K on external monitors.

Pipo as a name

Pipo has been a popular choice among consumers for years, they are reliable and have never been a disappointment. Thus, this new or reboot tablet will also be a good option for those in a budget. It is therefore a consumer tablet, but can also act like a very good laptop. Thus, if you need versatility on your tablet, then the Pipo W1s is a good choice.

    1. Hello Zak,

I’m not entirely sure if it has Wireless AC, but i am certain it only supports Wireless 2.4GHz. It is a reboot, so it doesnt differ that much of last generation, except of course in the chipset area. Most Cherry Trail chipsets supports wifi b/g/n.

      Best Regards,
      Vince

  1. 1. I really am partial to tablets that look like this. I don’t like tablets in white. Anymore like this? Will only consider Windows P’s if dual boot with android.

    2. The description states windows 10 but why does the screen show martial design wallpaper. Can you clarify if this is a dual boot tablet?

Thanks in advance. Great site. How to order?. Can yourecommend cheapest site and one that reliable please. I’d like to try dual boot tablet that is 10 +inch.

    Benjamin
