Pipo W1 Pro – 2 in 1 convertible Ultrabook upgraded to Cherry Trail X5-Z8350 with Stylus Support

The Pipo W1 Pro is a refresh 2 in 1 Convertible Ultrabook powered by Intel Atom X5-Z8350 Chipset. It also comes bundled with it’s own keyboard and Active Stylus. Is it any good?

Pros:

  • Refresh tablet that offers the new Intel Atom X5-Z8350 Chip and Intel HD Graphics 400
  • Usually bundled with its own keyboard and Stylus
  • 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM runs at 1600MHz by default
  • 64 GB eMMC Sandisk Drive
  • Good Quality display, colors look great, and touch sensitivity is accurate (Best asset of this tablet)
  • 64 bit Windows 10 Home Edition, Activated
  • USB Type C Support with USB 3.0 Speeds, supports External HDD
  • Good Stable WiFi, no issues with connectivity
  • Can run LOL (League of Legends above 30fps), Dota 2 at 30 fps (but dips on large fights)
  • The built in cameras are average at best, good for skype

Cons:

  • No Dual OS Support yet, only 2.4GHz
  • build quality isn’t on par with other Chinese made tablets such as Cube, Teclast
  • Cheapo Keyboard build Quality
  • Active stylus doesn’t work that well, sometimes it works, sometimes it does
  • 6000mAh Battery (3-4 hours battery life, not really great)
  • Takes a long time to charge, about 4 hours (no quick charging support)
