Dual OS nowadays is a commons site, most manufacturer’s utilize the Intel Atom Soc which natively supports both Android and Windows OS. The Onda V891 is no exception, but it also comes with a very familiar body and design. At first glance, the tablet is reminiscent of Apple’s iPad Mini. And underneath, the tablet is powered by a massive 5000mAh battery, enough for its 8.9 inch Display.

A notable aspect is the Mini HDMI output, which allows it up to 4K video output. Although there is a glaring lack of built in 3G Data Support, USB OTG Host is natively supported for 3G Dongle external sticks.

Overall, the Onda V891 is basically what a typical Dual OS tablet offers. Thus, there is nothing unique about it. However, the pricing gives it an edge to other competitors, also the Onda v820w, a smaller brother of the V891, cheaper and also supports Dual OS with minimal compromises. However, the Onda V891 does offer a bigger display and battery, plus the price gap is not that big and heavily complements the tablet. Especially that it looks like an iPad Mini.

  1. Hi,

Can you please tell which of these Chinese brands:
CHUWI, CUBE, PIPO, ONDA TECLAST… etc. is of better quality?
Xiaomi so far seem to be best, but to be honest I haven’t had any chance to see any of above pointed.
Thanks and keep up the good work!
