Tablet Flash Sale (updated)

The Onda V820W CH is a Cherry Trail Powered tablet and also a reboot. Aside from the new Chipset, the device is pretty much similar, and it comes with 2 versions, windows 10 only and Dual OS version. Thankfully, the tablet maintains a sub$100 price tag (win 10 only), and thus, can be considered one of the Cheapest Cherry Trail Tablets available.

At its core, the tablet is equipped with an Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-8300 Quad Core Processor with Intel HD Gen8 graphics chip. It is also equipped with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC Storage with support for Expandable storage. In terms of Display, the V820W CH packs a decent 720p HD WXGA IPS Display but is also capable of 4K video output via the Mini HDMI Port. In retrospect, it still has a MicroUSB 2.0 Port, a USB type C connector would have done better.

It is a cheap tablet, and thus, plastic build is not uncommon. The rear shell characterizes itself with “Fingerprint Texture”, but overall the construction is mostly plastic. Also powering the device is a 4200mAh, which is fairly decent for an 8.0 inch tablet. Such capacity will give you around 5 hours of typical usage, but this value will depend on user preference.

It’s a Reboot

Basically the tablet is a reboot, i would have loved to see it upgrade a bit more, more likely a USB type C connector or a 64 GB storage. But, aside from the chipset upgrade, you get the same features as last years model. Fortunately, the prices is still very much attractive, with the Single OS version retailing Sub$100. If you are on a budget and looking for a value cherry trail tablet?, then the Onda V820W CH would be one of your best choice.
