Lenovo Yoga Book – Draw like a Pro

The Lenovo Yoga Book is a graphic artist’s dream Tablet. Featuring Real Pen Technology with up to 2048 pressure sensitivity, and also offers up to 15 hours battery life.

Highlights of the Lenovo Yoga Book:

  • Real Pen (2048 pressure sensitivity)
  • Halo Keyboard with Haptic Feedback
  • 10.1 inch IPS 1200p Display
  • 8500mAh battery (with up to 15 hours estimated battery life)
  • Equipped with Intel Atom X5-Z8550 Quad Core Chipset (Cherry Trail)
  • 4 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC (supports Expansion)
  • Dual Band WiFi Support

Questionable?

  • Atom Chipset only for the high price
  • No SSD Storage (only eMMC)
  • No Dual OS System
  • 1200p only display, could have benefited from a 2K or better yet 3K display just like the Surface Book

Draw Like a Pro

That’s how Lenovo is advertising their latest Tablet. And this is for good reason, the Lenovo Yoga Book main feature is the Real Pen Technology with up to 2048 pressure sensitivity, this allows you to draw with great precision. You draw on one side, the keyboard side and the output is placed on the screen. Speaking of the Keyboard, it is Halo Keyboard with Haptic Feedback. Probably these two features have ballooned the cost of this tablet. I do question the frugal Atom Chipset and non SSD Storage, probably to extend the battery life (estimated 15 hours). Also there was no mention of a Dual OS version and the screen resolution at just 1200p is a bit law for graphical work. I think a 3K or at least 2K display, similar to the Chuwi Hi13 would have been perfect.
