Huawei stormed the market with their very impressive and most anticipated Huawei Mediapad M2, a successor to the M1 and inside this tablet is equipped with very powerful hardware and features that rival the biggest names in the industry.
Huawei has also launched this tablet with Multimedia in mind as it delivers all the things you wanted on a tablet. All metal premium build, best Audio ever in a Tablet, snappiest processor and an Ultra High Definition Display.
At its core, the device offers the latest Hisilicon has to offer, the Kirin930, is its flagship model and offer the best performance to price yet on any Flagship. Also included is a premium grade 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with variants of Storage availabilities and the ability to use extended Storage support via MicroSD.
The tablet run Huawei’s patented proprietary OS, the Emotion UI 3.1, which is based on the skinned version of Android 5.1 Lollipop. Changes has been made on making the performance of the UI streamline and easy to use. Users familiar with the Emotion UI will readily feel at home.
Most notably, Huawei heavily advertised on the brilliance of the built in Audio components of the M2, supposedly saying, aim for the audiophilic uses more or less. The Tablet has Dual Speakers with built in SWS 2.0 (Huawei) for improvement of the entertainment experience.
The tablet offers 4800mAh battery, which is projected to last up to 30 hours of standby and well over 10 hours of usage. Probably, one of the best asset is the build quality. Huawei is no stranger to all metal devices, and thus the M2 has the term “Quality Made” written all over it. Worthy of the name Flagship, the M2 indeed will be the Tablet to beat in 2015.
Other also notable features include Full Network connectivity, which includes built-in 4G LTE for some models, Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth. Although there is no mention of either a Fingerprint sensor, NFC support which is quite surprising since, Huawei’s Smartphone Flagships have this onboard.
Overall, Huawei is no stranger to surprising or even wowing consumers, and the M2 clearly wowed most of us. When it comes to build, Huawei is clearly top of the list as. Anyway, there are plenty of plus points, one can be said of the device. And it’s a welcome addition to the Flagship market of 2015.
