  • Good Quality 7.0 inch IPS Display
  • Unibody All Aluminum Design (Great build Quality)
  • Good and Fast Dual Band WiFi Support (Great for Streaming – Netflix, 1080p Video Playback etc…)
  • Nipple Mouse (similar to the Lenovo’s Thinkpad makes a comeback)
  • 5 hours Battery life (PC Mark)
  • Active Cooling, runs cool most of the time
  • Can run basic games, not for heavy gaming (great for emulators)
  • Supports Video Out via HDMI
  • Perfect for System Admins

Some Cons:

  • Bad and Cramped Keyboard, takes some getting use to
  • Expensive
  • Not powerful, only good for basic games and other light to moderate tasks.

Where to Buy?

GPD Pocket Mini Laptop at $509 (until Nov 18)

Not for everyone, but it is a good and True Netbook

The GPD Pocket Mini Laptop isn’t for everybody, but if you fancy Small Ultra Pocket Size PC’s, this is probably a great choice. It offers you Ubunto or Windows 10 out of the box and the mediocre hardware is pretty good for light to moderate task like streaming and office stuffs.

If you are after gaming, then this is far from it, although it might be perfect for emulators. The Atom Chip with Intel HD Graphics is only good for basic games. But for streaming games, the Dual Band WiFi is strong enough for that luxury. It is also great for streaming Netflix at 1080p.
