The Chuwi Vi10 Ultimate is the reboot of the Bay Trail version, which is still available today for purchase. Separated only by the moniker “Ultimate”, comes with Cherry Trail Processor underneath and Windows 10 out of the box. If you own the first one, this new version will not be entirely different. Except for hardware changes, the tablet is basically the same with the Bay Trail version.
Surface Tablet like design
The tablet strikes a someone familiar face, specifically, a surface tablet like design, it is also a transformer tablet, with an option to add install Keyboard via it’s magnetic dock.
Low resolution display
However, compared to other new Cherry Trail tablets in the market, and other tablets with the same price range, the Chuwi Vi10 sticks with a low resolution 1366 x 768 display, which is a far cry from the Retina Display of other tablets like the Teclast X98 Pro.
Full Size USB Slots
The tablet does have support for full size USB slots and also a microUSB slot. USB 3.0 is also available for one slot and is capable of fast transfers.
Good premium build coupled with a decent size battery
8000mAh is particularly great on a 10 inch tablet, Chuwi still rates the tablet at 8 hours, but it could be close to 6 hours on real time use. The tablet’s flaunts an aluminum build, which has a glossy design to it, which unfortunately can be a fingerprint magnet.
