Ultra Thin but basically similar performance to other Lapbooks

The Chuwi Lapbook Air from the specs itself would be an incredible notebook, and perhaps would rival the popular Xiaomi Mi Air 12. But only Intel Apollo Lake N3450 and no SSD at stock? It seems to be a slightly upgraded version of the Chuwi Lapbook 12.3. Anyway, I think the selling point of this notebook is the look, and also it does offer a Fully Laminated Screen and Backlit keyboards. You can also check out the highlights below.

Highlights of the Chuwi Lapbook Air:

  • Anodize Aluminum Build
  • Powered by Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 Quad Core, Intel Graphics 500
  • 8 GB Dual Channel RAM and 128 GB eMMC
  • Supports M.2 SSD Expansion
  • 14.1 inch Fully Laminated Retina Screen (Bezel-less Glass)
  • 7H Mohs Hardness Scale (Glass), 0.2mm Compact Lamination
  • Dual Band WiFi (2.4/5GHz) Support
  • Back-lit Keyboard
  • 2x USB 3.0 Slots
  • 33.7Wh Battery (10000mAh) – 8 hours life

What worries me?

  • Skylake Chip would have been better
  • No SSD Storage at stock (but upgradable)

    1. Hello Zin

I am not really sure if that is the correct weight. But weight is average for a 14 inch Laptop. I am still looking for more info on it.

      Best Regards,
      Vince
