Highlights of Chuwi Hibook Pro:

  • Updated to Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-Z8350
  • 4 GB RAM and 64 GB Storage
  • Supports Expandable Storage via MicroSD
  • Dual OS (Android 5.1 and Windows 10)

  • Modest Performance only (Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5)
  • No Dual Band WiFi

The Chuwi Hibook Pro is basically an upgrade to the Hibook 2. It upgrades the 1080p FHD screen to a much higher 2K Fully laminated Retina Display. It still keeps the same hardware and features, a modest Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 Chipset with 4 GB RAM and USB Type C support on board. The tablet also retains the Dual OS Support.

In terms of connectivity, it is limited to 2.4GHz Wifi and thus there is no support for Dual Band WiFi. The tablet also supports USB Type C reversible connectivity. At it’s innards bares a 8000mAh battery with support for Fast Charging.

Just a better display or even better?

The Chuwi Hibook Pro is not entirely a unique tablet, it is just a minor update to the Hibook 2, but it is honestly a good change. The tablet overall is a lot better now, and the Retina Display offers much better performance in work and games. Even with a modest performance, its still a great upgrade.

  1. Hey i wanna buy a tablet, my main focus is the screen because i mainly want to use it for watching movies (Netflix etc.) and working for school ( browsing and working in word) is the processor powerfull enough to do this in Windows 10? Is this the best pick for me do u think? I dont want to spend much more then $200.

    1. Hello Sander,

Yes, the processor is good enough for office work. You can even run Photoshop on it. But it is not for heavy multitasking as well as gaming. The 2K screen is great and would suit your needs.

      Best Regards,

      1. Thanx! But i read in a lot of reviews that there are problems with the WiFi, it would not connect and when connected the connection is very unstable. Did you have such problems or do these problems show up often?

        1. Hello Sander,

Not about the WiFi being unstable, but the range isn’t that great and doesn’t support WiFi ac.

          Best Regards,

        2. I have one (5 days) and the WiFi issue is related with the range and not with stability. You need to be in the same/near room with router in order not to lose signal.

    1. Hello AKG,

The Chuwi Hi10 Pro is also a good Dual OS tablet, and it is also powered by the new Intel Atom X5-Z8350 Chipset

      Best Regards,

  2. Hi I currently inntrested in this nifty little thing but I’m curious about the performance difference in the z8300 and z8350 chip. The warehouses in Europe doesn’t seem to stock the 8350 yet and taxes and customs would make it a bit expensive.
Great site btw thumbs up 🙂
